Hey guys,

I want to clarify how the Turn 1 chicane exit should be taken. I'm seeing many of the laps showing up on LR as "not clean". I'm guessing many of you are cutting through this section. You will gain easily over a half second per lap by cutting this section. While it will be difficult to police it, I would recommend that if you do accidently cut through the curb exit of the chicane, you should give back any time you gained. The general rule of thumb in this series is that you need to keep at least 2 tires on the tarmac at all times.

Please try to police yourselves on this during the race as I don't intend (or have time) to have debates afterward. Just be aware that if the Stewards do see that you gained an unfair advantage by doing this, you will be penalized.

We will be going back to 50% damage. This was a compromise since we will now limit driving aids to only Auto Clutch, Low TCS, and Low ABS. The use of driving aids is discouraged for experienced drivers, but this should help some of the less experienced guys or guys that don't have a clutch or have issues with their pedals.

Excellent, one of my favourite tracks.

Still gonna take some getting used to, driving WITH aids. Maybe I'll just go without for a while and see how I do.

I have a question for admins... I'm at a rock and a hard place because the season finale of our Porsche 944 Cup over at ESR is also on April 24th. And to top it off, it's also Mosport, my home track... I'm more than likely going to skip it in favour of running here, UNLESS I do real well in the points in the next two races (I'm still mathematically in the championship hunt). But in the event I do decide to run Mosport, do you guys penalize for missing races, or give up my spot to another driver, or some other such thing? I don't see anything in the rules about it, I just want to be sure.

There are no penalties for missing a race, you simply don't get any points for that event.

As for the driving aids, if you don't need them DO NOT use then. There are many of us that do not use any aids, but it's there as an option in case someone does feel they need them.

Are there any guys using manual clutch with these cars? I thought everyone was on Auto Clutch. Just curious.

I'm using manual clutch. I use the clutch when downshifting and you don't need to use it when upshifting in these cars.

i use the clutch. but i'm also a firm believer that everyone should use what they want.

Been using the clutch on more and more mods but not sure I'm ready for it in V8s.
