Tony, that is some fancy footwork. Awesome camera angle on the feet. I can drives stick IRL, but have never done any heel toe stuff, Since I wasn't racing, just driving around town. Keep these videos coming!

Just as in real life, I clutch on upshifts, and do not clutch on downshifts, just burp the throttle until the shifter slips into the gear. Stockcar racers and rally drivers use this method, because left foot braking provides more precise adjustments during corner entry (giving it minor throttle while also modulating the brakes can help the car turn when a push occurs)... Downside is, I tend to be harder on transmissions. ya V8s only clutch on downshifts but drivers like Greg Murphy blips the throttle instead of clutching most of time as he is a Left foot braker also the V8s sequential shifter handle rocks which activates the clutch for upshifts. so this is why I don't bother using the clutch because it is close to how they do it

Since I had commitments to ESR's series, I was unable to attend the exhibition event. Has anyone started to get a feel for how the Softs and Inters will work for this race? Any suggestions? Or are we all basically on our own with this one.

well the exhibition race I was better/more consistent on inters than softs for some reason took me about 4 laps to get comfy with the softs after using the inters for race 1 but could be setup as I used same setup for both

I have to test Adelaide to see how it goes. If you asked me last season I'd have said softs without a doubt. 2x tire wear in these cars is new to me, though.
Inters are slower, no doubt but they're easier to protect and not overheat. At Yas, for me, the number laps wasn't that different. 9 or 10 for each compound (perhaps 1 lap longer on inters) depending on how hard I was battling with others. At Yas, the limitation was the RF tire, it gets destroyed. If that had worn the same as the LF I could've easily done two more laps.

my problem is if I don't push hard I actually fook up ive tried it before because I know my turning points & braking points & shifting points at a certain speed, time & place I have trouble backing off from that
