Amendment to allowed driving aids - V8 Supercars

After much debate and discussion among the Stewards, we have decided to go ahead and increase the allowed driving aids to include up to medium TCS and high ABS. We had a few guys really struggle with this in last night's race at Yas Marina. Our goal is to try to keep this series enjoyable for most and maximize participation. I admit I am guilty for trying to move us to one direction maybe a little too quickly.

I'm not encouraging the use of the aids, but do acknowledge there is a wide range of skill levels in this series and it's wise to leave it available for those that need it.

If you don't absolutely need 'em, don't use 'em!

Hopefully this will appeal to the majority and you guys will come out for each event and have a good time racing. See you on the track!

Hey if it makes the Racing better i'm all for it!
i'm a firm believer that the cream always rises to the top.
and if some drivers need it to stay in the hunt. coolness go for it.....

well I learnt I don't need TC at all as both races I took off without it so will not use again

i used to use a little TC,and the hood view. but any more I'm swarmed by restrictions.
and it kinda takes the fun out of it. hell in one series my seat it lock in place.
it will move 2 click any direction.talk about anal lol!!!
I'd just like GBR, my home platform be as casual and fun as possible.
and we have a fun group of people here.

I'd have to be way, WAY off the pace before I consider TCS or ABS.

I need them, and i use them. Especially ABS. With out it, some of you guys wont have rear bumpers at the end of a race. nuff said.

ya im still gonna be cautious about needing TC for take off ill see how I go lol
