skin looks fine in showroom, but not when I go to the track

This is for my BTCC league and all the other drivers have the skin pack and
they all work fine for everybody but me. I have the skins loaded and
when I am in the showroom picking a car the skin displays perfectly but
when I go to the track all of the skins looked striped. This only seems
to be an issue with the mod we are running because the V8 skins for GBR look fine on the track.

I uninstalled the mod and reinstalled to a new path to create all new folders but still getting the same results.

Has anybody else seen something like this before? I don't know why it is only happening to me with this 1 mod.

I've seen something similar with the sky at one version Road Atlanta and that was due to running at a lower texture detail setting.

So, try running the game with max quality on the textures and ensure you're in DX9 mode.

Thanks F1, I will check my detail level when I get home tonight to make sure it is set to the highest level. I really hope this is it, because this is extremely frustrating. Our man Tartan_special has whipped up about 5-6 skins for all of us in just a few days and really want to see all his work during the season.

THat was it. The detail was set to meduim and not full, all working great now!
