Just ran this car in an official race at Lime Rock. Loved every minute of it. It's so different than the Caddy its not funny.

Nah, this is an iceskater, got it thinking here is a car I should be able to handle and it's like the feckin thing is on roller skates, it improves a little when the tires warm up.

Hmm, I found it easy to drive, mostly because I read the tips above in this thread and I am slow. Seems like the most important thing is to avoid braking or accelerating while turning.

Iam pretty sure it's mostly due to a high brake setting on csp and the wheel feels a bit off the base ffb was very week and I was getting full under steer just past 9and 3 o'clock....like I said still getting use to it and have only ran a hand full of laps this far. At the end I was getting use to braking a bit earlier and loading the tire on entry and again I was running Ohio which I know there's a few spots I am losing alot of time in....in alot of ways it feels alot like my first experience with caddy which went from a hate love relationship just the power is coming from a different end

Well after weeks of tweaking things to make this car not be a wasted purchase I ve found some settings to make this car quit enjoyable and less slippery and even somewhat competitive in my division I am currently sitting 5 th but screwed my self by missing a week doesn't help try to find an official race during my available time is next to impossible Any ways ingame settings Wheel 900 I might tweak to 720? Enable ffb Linear off Ffb 23 Dampening 0-5% Steering force 0 Fanatec gt3 rs Ffb 100 Sho 90 can use a 100 but I found curb vibes to cause clipping Everything else off For those with wheels that allow negative dampening -1 for some weird reason has always given more grip ? These settings make the car much more planted and eliminates that side to side slipping and the ass coming around and gives more feedback of the tires limits. I also got a tune for interlagos that's fairly decent I managed a 1:39.4 in testing but have only seemed to find a mid 1:40 in race Overal iam alot happier with the car but disappointed in the fact of 5 weeks in this series I haven't raced against more than 5 kias at one time ? Scrolling through the series each nite around dinner seems the only lobbies that have a decent showing are the free content and oval series....with the exception to the star Mazda and late nite Aussies running v8

V8s for example have designated times for the Americas on Thursday and Friday night and then times for the Aussies that are like 2AM for me. I did most of my GT endurance races with a Euro league that hosted at around 11AM Saturday my time. Cars like the MX-5 are best for pick-up races as almost every one goes official but I prefer to run that in the late evening because the quality of drivers seems to improve.

The Global Challenge series, which features the Kia and the Caddy, has trouble in some weeks in getting enough participants to go official. Getting multiple Kias is a challenge in any week, even if the track is popular. We had lots of official races during the week we ran Watkins Glen, but very few last week when we ran Sonoma. Also, it seems like less races go official earlier in the week, as guys adjust to the new track. I usually can find official races on the weekend.
