Alright drivers we are past the midway point of the season, coming up on our 10th race. This week we travel to the fast paced oval of Kentucky. Two totally different corners on either of the track will provide a challenge and potentially, some action packed racing. Tune is set on the server and this will be an evening race , so ignore if your temps climb to high. They will be fine come race time. Almost big enough, that the draft can come into play here and most definatly look out for that aero push in 1&2. Settings on the server are all stock, but....I may change it to 2 x fuel...not sure as of yet. Right now they race CAN be run on 1 stop...but man you have NOOOO tires or fuel at Lap 50. So I'm still deciding on balance for a ompetitive race for all. Also, until I can learn to run the batch file to clear penatlies, they will only be cleared if we are under caution. Trying t make sure everyone had a fair shot at Dover , really distracted my performance there at one of my favorite and strongest tracks in the series. Be mindful, while I'm pretty lax, the mod (VHR) is isn't 100 Laps is scheduled proving the green flag drops right on time at 7:30PM. Drivers meeting at 7:15, qualifying at 7:20. Hope to see everyone out there. Jeff hasn't wrapped it up yet , but he does have a good lead (if you've been watching the points thread). It's still anyone championships really.

I think cautions will eliminate any chance of a 1 stop race, so you probably don't have to worry about that. I bet after 25-30 laps when there is a caution, if you don't pit for fresh tires, you're heading straight for the back.
If there was a high likelyhood of the race staying green in it's entirety, then it could certainly make things interesting. But I doubt running fuel at 1x or 2x is actually going to make any difference.

That's kinda where I'm leaning at as well. I just was balancing out trying to keep it close competition or letting it runs it's course. 100 laps with no catuions will be 66 minutes...so best not to "force' anymore then necessary. I CAN always edited the umber of laps on the fly if necessary too i believe.
