I never update device drivers via Windows Update. Grab the latest WHQL driver package from nvidia.com, do a custom install, deselect the bits you don't need (for me that's the 3D Vision stuff and HD audio).

Have you tried totally uninstalling the drivers and software, cleaning the registry, hunting out anything Nvidea and removing, and then installing the latest from scratch?

do a bezel correction and go to change resolution. see if it lets you get at least 5760x 1080. thats what i do.

With the latest drivers I can suddenly get 6000 and something, eats frame rates though.

What you are describing is what happened to me when I tried to do triple screens with three difference screens using an Nvidia card.

2 are indentical one is the year model before.....all have the the same resolution 1920 x 1080 24 " but 1 is a hair smaller in screen size.....when i first installed triples i remember flashing my monitors to make nvidia t they were identical or something like that lol

The reason why we recommend three identical screens with Nvidia is because of the Nvidia requirement that the sync polarity for each monitor match at each resolution. What your system is doing is downscaling the overall resolution to a resolution where each monitor has the same sync polarity. Google the two identical displays and see if you can find out what the sync polarity is at 1920 X 1080. Do the same for the other display. Assuming you unearth the discrepancy, you can then create a "custom resolution" in Nvidia Surround that will allow you to change the sync polarity at 1920 X 1080 to align with the other screens. That should allow you to get the magic resolution you are looking for of 5760 X 1080. Its a pain, but it does work.

As many of you know I haven't been able to update my nvidia drivers without them crashing during install since last nov. so today I attempted again, I uninstalled anything to do with nvidia from my hdd, second task was I have 3 of the same monitors only issue 1 was built earlier than the other 2 which caused a polarity snc issue so I followed this thread into tricking the driver they were all identical hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1697040Downloaded the new driver and low and behold everything worked!!!!! Almost lol I running 6000x1080 60hrz When I launched pcars it worked but when I went to set my screen display and resolution it only allowed me to set it to 59 hrz, than when I exit the game both my outer screens picture shift an inch to the left....so I have 1 inch of the left side of my screen on the right side and a black line dividing which I believe would be my bezel? I can fix the issue by opening nividia controller and clicking the configure button in surround setup..... So after my rambling my 2 issues are I can't set ingame refresh rate 60 and when exiting games my outer screens become unaligned any one have any suggestions?

59 is 60. It's a weird issue that pops up from time to time (you can Google it). Essentially 60 Hz timing is really 59.97 Hz (or maybe 59.94... I forget). Sometimes that gets displayed as 59 by drivers or software. rFactor lets you select 59 or 60 Hz... I have no idea why.
pCARS is the same for me... only lists 59 Hz.

Strange before today it always showed 60 as well, I thought that the screen shifting when exiting to home screen might because the game was on 59 hz and it was running on 60 hz causing some kind of glitch ?

So I seemed to have sorted it out...in nvidia driver it wouldn't let me set the hrz to anything other than 60, so I went into monitor properties and set it to 59 than did the same in all the games and it seems to have fixed the screen shifting when exciting games....the odd time I reboot it reverts back 60hrz but not a huge deal....I assuming its a glitch in the nvidia driver but overall iam happy I can see a big difference in image quality and performance pcars runs on ultra settings with high Fxaa and looks great not so choppy and I can see a massive difference in the tree definition....runs at steady 60 fps and starts off low to mid 50's with a 20 car race. Rf2 iam able to run on full as well with level 6 AA Believe iam running the latest beta driver they released to enhance the latest splinter cell hopefully they will release one soon for the upcoming sims to give them a boost. Iam fairly confident the 670 2gb will run all future sims on high or max with some optimization still to go, if I hadn't solved this issue I was ready to make a switch to a 7970 or 7990....at the local shop here they have both on sale the 7970 for around $320 and the 7990 starting at $630 which is a killer deal considering there claiming it to be faster than the Titan which I was looking at as well for $400 less its kinda no brainer hopefully that deal will appear again down the road

Problem with 7990 is its dual GPU (not really a problem since new 13.8 drivers) but I still know a fair few having stutter issues even with new frame pacing in 13.8.
