What do you guys want to run? I heard a suggestion from Troy about doing one car, perhaps the McLaren. What say you? Also, how about track? Interlagos?
All ideas and opinions are welcome.

I think the McLaren would be a great choice. I believe most if not all of the regulars already have it. And it is a nice car to drive. Not nearly as tail happy as the Vette or Caddy.
As for track, there are bunch of tracks that work great with the McLaren. My picks in no particular order are: Road Atlanta, Brands Hatch, Interlagos, and Road America.

I have no preference. I'm most comfortable in the McLaren but I'll race anything you pick. So far, I've liked our choices because it's been forcing me to try other cars inmy garage that I don't race much.
Tracks, I have them all so will go with the majority. I like all the tracks Troy listed.

I want my Vette but majority rules so I will drive whatever is picked.
If the Mclaren is the car of choice then the tracks already mentioned are great picks.

I'm easy, whatever you pick I'll see what happens. The Caddy turned out okay, and I have the Mclaren. If you pick a track I don't have I'll buy it.

I want my Vette but majority rules so I will drive whatever is picked. I'm with you Kelly, I would like to see everyone in the Vette for a race. Maybe someday we can get that. But we have to ease them into it.  |

Lol, I don't really care what everyone else drives... I just want to drive my Vette!
Love the sound more than anything and I could drive the thing for hours.
If iRacing ever by some freak chance gets the Ring, you will pretty much never pry me off the track as it would be me, a Vette and the Ring.

Lets stick with the McLaren for June but perhaps we can do the Vette at Road Atlanta, Road America or Interlagos in July???

If we pick the Corvette for July, I wouldn't recommend Interlagos as it would be kind of tough in all those hairpins.
Good tracks for the Vette are Road America, Road Atlanta, Spa, or Watkins Glen.

I agree with Jarhead on the tracks for a Vette event. Something has a good flow to it and keeps the speed up is tons of fun in that car. Spa might be a bit big given our low numbers but Road Atlanta would be near perfect.

I have no problem holding off a couple of more months before we have an all Corvette race. Maybe in July we could have another multicar race so Kelly and I can get back in the Vettes. I think Road Atlanta would be a great track for Vettes and McLarens. |
