I know, I know, you road guys could hardly wait. My hope is that they modify the NASCAR iRacing series schedule to include Kansas at some point. The pros return there on October 6.

Hey don't count out the road guys, it has a road course configuration too. That is true, I did not realize that when I first read about the release. I stand corrected.

Just a heads up, with today's update, iRacing added Kansas of course, but it also added two oval fun races using Kansas, one with the Dallara IndyCar, the other with the Chevy Silverado truck.

I tried out the track with the IndyCar in the 24 Heures du Fun race. It is a very boring track with the IndyCar, much like Texas. I was on the pole, got a good start and jump on the pack at the start and just hot lapped the entire race for an easy win.
Haven't tried it with the Silverado yet, I may try that tonight. Hopefully it's a little more competitive there.

I did some practice in the truck last night. The track looks awesome, its easily one of the best ovals iRacing has done in terms of graphics. I also have read that you can run the upper line on this track, which should enhance the already excellent oval racing. The track looks similar to Kentucky, but it still has its own distinctive feel.
