Soundcard help

Hey guys thinking of upgrading my sound card. and don't know what I'm looking for. i just want something basic.
and something i can record my video with sound from my simulator

My Asus card works well. The software is somewhat annoying but it gets the job done.

It was the weirdest thing, but my Asus Xonar DG card software was interfering with Richard Burns Rally and thus I had to remove the card in order to fix the problem. I had another in my desktop PC and I did not need that either and so I shipped them off to Ian. I just use the onboard sound nowadays.
