Has anyone tried to create a skin for any of their iRacing cars? I have the template, but have no idea what to do with it. If anyone could take a look at it and let me know if you are willing to make a skin for me, I would greatly appreciate it. iRacing templates are more difficult to deal with than rFactor. I've been meaning to tackle a V8SC skin as a learning experience but that's not going to happen soon... I picked up a guitar this week and most of my free time is being spent on trying to reteach my old fingers what my pre-teen fingers could do. Typing is a little uncomfortable today.  |

I cannot paint at all. I barely can paint a car in Gran Turismo 5 or Forza.

You're in luck.
Theres not much work involved there.
That exact livery is on the Cadillac template.
I'll set it all up as a skin tonight.
I can also do helmets (to an extent) and suits.
I'll post some examples of my stuff in the paint booth show off thread.

Is there an official GBR paint scheme that is standard? I have been running a lot of iRacing and want to start representing this club. I only have a D license but I plan on continuing to improve. I'd be honored to have GBR on my cars.
I looked into Trading Paints.com. Is anyone here signed up at TP? Are there pros and cons?

Rather, Tartan did a GBR skin for us that works with the RUF. Perhaps if we ask nicely he will do one for us that works with the Caddy and/or Kia? Tartan, what say you? You will need to install and run Trading Paints, however, in order for you and others to be able to see the skin in the game. I run Trading Paints and it works fine. Just follow the directions. Uploading custom skins is quite easy. You literally just upload them to Trading Paints and then Trading Paints takes it from there. |

Nice! Tartan, I have no idea how much work it is but it would be cool to run a GBR skin.
Is it possible to get one on the MX5 Cup? :-)
