I found an IROC mod over at R2P that has the 1975 Camaro as the Spec NASCAR. Very cool to drive, and tuning would not be an issue as you can only tune the gear box, steering and brakes. Car handles good on ovals and road alike.
The only issue I have come a crossed, is we would have to do lots of paints.... It comes with one white car, you have to add your own skins.
It's called IROC'75 and can be found at R2P. If your interested I could upload it so you can check it out.

Trying to talk the mod creator into giving us the car template, with out it it's no good.

OK, I got Dave and Norms permission to use the mod, Norm has sent me the templates. All they ask is to be mentioned as the creators of the mod in any vids or credits. I downloaded the mod last night! Haven't checked it out yet, but the Camaro looks a lot like the iRacing Street Stock Camaro.

coolness i ran across a Iroc mod not to long ago that looked cool forgot to go back and download it. it was the Pontiac's like they used to run in the Crown Royle race. I'll have to look it up again

Jim Thanks, but it's pretty well set up that way on the templates, just add name, number and color. The HT series of SPAZCAR is it's own series. So I don't think running SPAZCAR itself is required. But this series only runs between the main series. So we have some time before SPAZCAR Home Town kicks off again. And then, Ian has the say in what we will be running, I just put this up for review and consideration. But I'm hopeful we will be running these. |
