I just did my first ever protest. Another racer called me an idiot four times during our Cadillac race this morning. There is a button in the upper right hand corner of the iRacing member screen. I hit that button and then filled in the info. It was very easy.
I will keep you guys updated on how iRacing handles it.

Interesting.... As much as people say communication is important I never connect to the game chat people take it way to serious and flip out over the smallest things and the few times I have joined the majority didn't speak English. I just monitor the live timing and if I notice someone is closing fast I let them pass at the right opportunity unless its the last lap. If I had to listen to people bad mouthing me combined with getting deducted safety points for blowing on someone's paint I'd lose my shit and get to frustrated with the game. I treat iracing the same as I did in forzas public lobbies. I am interested what they will do? Can't see much being done in all honest other than maybe a stop and go penalty next race I don't think they have the cash flow to start dropping the forza ban hammer unless its quit a serious offence like hacking or forum abuse to an official

He called me an idiot via text chat. I can block that, I think, but I actually like the chat aspect of the game.
According to the sporting code, name calling, profanity, etc., what iRacing calls "disrespectful communication," is grounds for cancellation of membership.
