Well, what can I say. I love this track, but my luck has been hit and miss here....typically miss. 
Race 1 was a double whammy. After qualifying 5th (I was happy with that), I had to serve my penalty for my incident at Queensland, which put me in 10th. Got a good jump and moved up a couple spots, but cars started bunching up at T3. I got tagged on the rt rear, which spun me right around and stalled my car. I enjoyed everyone's liveries as the entire field drove by and got back underway in 26th (dead last). I must say I did enjoy working my way back through traffic. Had some really good battles along the way and managed to finish 12th, which is better than I expected I would finish considering the circumstance.
Race 2 I was back to my 5th spot on the grid. Had a sub-par jump off the line and lost a couple spots right away. About halfway through the lap, Jeff, Boza and a couple others got tangled up and I somehow wormed my way through the carnage and was back in 4th, trying to find a way around John Nelson. Smokey rode my arse for several laps. I hadn't tested tire life with softs, but after 8 laps they still felt pretty good so decided to go with a 1 stop strategy on the fly. Boy was that a mistake! After lap 10, my left front was begging for mercy and I lost a ton of time trying to get to lap 12. Lost a few spots in the process and came back out on the track in 10th or 11th. Followed Dale and Boza around for a few laps until my tires started to drop off big time the last couple laps. Pat Collins was closing in quick and got to my bumper with just a couple corners to go. Both our tires were shot. To Pat's credit, he tapped me with 2 corners to go and I went wide and he could have easily made the pass, but he backed off, which allowed me to salvage a 7th place finish. Had a whopping 4% tread on my LF tire when I crossed the line.

I could tell I had a bit more pace than hawks on the softs it took about 6 laps to make a decent dive I have to apologize too as I think he might been going low line to make sure I don't do it but I was pretty well committed so sorry mate bit of bump & grind then caught up to nelson & culbert by then culbert went to pits about a lap or so later overtook nelson I was pretty shocked as me tyres felt excellent till great till the end of lap till I was forced to pit as went off track locked up and decided then to pit 
fook it ill do it again now I found the TS chatter too
