iRacing.com is currently down and the message cutely says "When we're back, things will be Ruf in California." That suggests to me that the RUF and Auto Club Speedway are coming. I watched a promo video on YouTube and it shows the RUF at Auto Club Speedway.
I guess I better "recharge" my iRacing account soon. LOL!

oooooh DADDY! Betcha we see more of helios in iRacing now. Took out all three versions around Road America and here are my thoughts: 12R C-Spec: Nice all round car, won't get into too much trouble with it. Handles great stock, plenty of grip and you can toss it into corners pretty nicely. 12R RWD: This car will take some finesse to get the absolute most out of it. Twitchy is the easiest way to describe it. Gets up to speed quickly but can't just chuck it into corners and hauling it down from speed takes full flaps and throwing out the anchor to boot! 12R Track: Now THIS is the car! Great power through the band, handles smooth as butter, you can throw it around a bit but do it right and you can have some serious fun with this car. I see a series here folks.

I haven't driven it yet but apparently the C-spec rolls easily if you hit a curb. Maybe too easily.

I guess it depends on the curbing at the track.

I just ran each of these RUF cars and I concur with Kelly's comments. The only other point I will add is that the 12R RWD is indeed quite a handful, particularly at a track like Daytona road course where it transitions to the oval parts of the course. iRacing really hit a home run with these cars.

iRacing just announced that the 4WD RUF is here. With Week 13 being upon us this week, I plan to spend some quality time with the RUF. There is a "fun" race featuring the RUF Track version with the McLaren and the Radical.

With the release of all the ruf versions are the 3 models all seperate purchases or do you get 3 for the price of 1? Is it possible for one you to post the season events & the week 13 update here that doesn't envolved having to sign into iracing ? Since my membership has expired I have no access to info asides from Facebook posts from virtualr.net
Cheers

I was just driving the RUF track version at Road America in a practice server the other night. It really does sound good. And it is very tunable. I was just using the baseline setup and thought I was doing ok. Then someone came in and was running 3 seconds per lap faster than me. I asked if he could share his setup and he did. Within a few laps I dropped 1 1/2 seconds off my best time and saw room for more improvement.
