I'll have to find the Internet traffic stats for this day tomorrow. Between GTA and iOS 7, the internets must've been smoking today.

Yeah.. the torture thing really was not a big deal. By the way, Trevor is by far my favorite, reminds me of some of the guys I went to school with...

I read somewhere (take this with a grain of salt) that the PC version is not coming until sometime in 2014. I got the Xbox version today. For me, these typs of games are best played on my sofa with my feet up and a beer at my side. BF3, COD, etc... I play at the PC but if I'm slappin' hos around I don't need my 1200 ppi mouse and i7 rig.

I have this thing called XIM3 which allows me to play games using a mouse and keyboard on the Xbox 360. Works great for FPS like COD, BF3, etc. But I don't use it for this game. I just kick back on my theater chair in my man cave with the controller. Great entertainment. The beer will come later when I'm not taking so many drugs. If you are interested in the online portion, you should join the 2old2play crew. You just need a rockstar social club membership linked to your xbox live account. Once you have that, let me know and I can send you an invite.

I have now put in a couple of hours with GTA V on my PS3. First, let me say that it is amazing to me that my almost seven year old PS3 is still alive and kicking. I have a vintage 2006 60 GB "Fat" PS3, which was the only PS3 to include full PS2 and PS1 backwards compatibility. I hardly ever used that feature, but it was nice to know it was there, particularly when I spent $600 for the console in December 2006, when I bought it. Several years ago I upgraded the hard drive to a 320 GB model and boy am I glad I did!!!! Most PS3 games I buy from PSN, and so no disc swapping is needed. My GT5 disk sits in the tray, and all other PS3 games I am currently interested in, GTA V, Last of Us, Red Dead Redemption, are digital. I anticipate swapping out the GT5 disk for GT6 in December. The pre-order bonus for GT6 is a Game Stop exclusive and I had to buy a disk copy of the game to get that. Anyway, GTA V looks great in the graphics department. The lighting engine is awesome. They have minimized the "washed out" look that was a regular feature of GTA III and GTA IV. I also like that you can play as one of three characters. So far, I have played as Michael and Franklin, with Trevor to come, hopefully soon. The cars drive great and you can feel the difference between different models. Like many of you, I no longer can play driving games with a controller, but this game is an exception. There are ample quick save check points, which is great. You no longer need to return "home" to save your game, nor do you need to repeat an entire mission if you die towards the end. Rather, there are mission check points as well. This is definitely one of the best of the year, if not the best of the year, at least until GT6 is released.

The beer will come later when I'm not taking so many drugs. ? Without the beer your clearly not getting the full potential of the drugs.......or the game

G/f got her first headshot ever in a non-LEGO game on the weekend. I'm so proud... *sniff*. I don't know how long she'll stick with it but I'll probably have to do the driving missions for her because the joystick steering is kinda hard at high speeds.

Nothing says romance like poppin' caps in people lol. My wife's interest in video games ends somewhere around Words w Friends and Angry Birds.

My wife has no interest in video games. Period. That being said, she tolerates my son and I playing them.

My wife had no interest in video games until she got Angry Birds on her iPhone. She played the shit out of that game for a long time then lost interest. Now she is hooked on Candy Crush. She plays it all the time. She asked me to try it, but it is so simple and mind numbing, I couldn't do it. I really don't want her to get interested in anything on the Xbox or PC. As long as she keeps her gaming to the iPhone and iPad, I'm fine with it.
