QUALIFICATION: Qualification is determined by lap times during the practice prior to event start on race day.

FLAGS: Black Flags Only. Blue Flags will show but no penalty will be issued.

RACE LENGTH: 1.5 Hours

PIT: One mandatory pit stop requiring all four tires changed is required.

PIT SPEED: 48 MPH

FUEL: x2

TIRES: Normal wear | Drivers choice for compound

DAMAGE%: 50%

SPECIAL CONDITIONS:

P2 cars can overheat on some tracks while in pit row during extended pit stops(repairing damage, etc). It is HIGHLY recommended that buttons be mapped for both Starter and Ignition so P2 cars can be switched off while in pit row.

Ensure you are in 1st Gear with the Pit Limiter ON before entering the pits.

There are NO brake markers anywhere on the course so drivers will have to pick other markers to determine braking zones.

Heads up that we are looking at a different version of this track that has much nicer graphics, and includes brake markers to make it MUCH easier to drive the track.

I'll update this thread as soon as we make a decision on which version to go with. In the meantime I'm taking the regular server down so folks aren't practicing on a track we may not use.

just tried this one mate (2 laps offline) looks better, best I could get was a 2:10 lol in the vette but I couldn't find your server online

Look up a few posts. I took my server offline for the time being till we can decide on a track switch. I personally like the new track.

Well I could tell right away which one I liked better, the new one may be lacking a bit in elevation accuracy but the curbs don't grab the car and seems to have more grip even on cold tires. This is a much better combo for wheel to wheel league racing on a tricky track. I love this track, I even have a plain beta version that I first tried before the first GP was held.

Based on the feedback I've received, I'm going to go ahead and switch up the track to the new version of COTA.

I will update the original post as well as the downloads section and install on the server and start it back up.

its to bad Catalunya wasn't on this list man. those are my too favorite tracks of all time..
and there are a lot of similar thing about the tracks.driving style that is.

I don't know how seeing as the only change was the COTA track change.

Where is that set as I don't see it listed in the Track Options?

I just went through the PLR for the server and FixedSetups is set to 0 so there must be something else at work here.
