Trans-Am Revival will be Season 2 of the GBR HistorX series. This should prove to be a really fun series. Please use the Discussion Thread for chatting about the series.

Please post your choice in the Car Selection thread. I would like everyone to select a car even if you are just dropping in. It makes organizing the series a little easier. You can select more than one if you’re torn between two.
Event Format
Qualifying - Practice times from the session just before the event will be used to set the grid
Race #1 - 20 minutes - Begins at 7:30 PT barring any technical issues
Race #2 - 20 minutes - Begins after a 5 minute warmup/break and will have an inverted grid
Server Name - "GBR - Trans-Am Revival"
Tire Wear - X2
Fuel Usage - X2
Damage - 50%
Mechanical Failures - Normal (if we have a hard time keeping the cars alive I will change this)
Flag Rules - Black Only - Blue will be shown but not penalized
Driver Aids - Auto Clutch; Low Traction Control (please only use if you must)
Starts - Standing
Mandatory Pit Stops - None
Setups - Open
Points
I will keep track of points. Please see the Results and Standings thread for more info.
Success Ballast
In an effort to keep all cars equal, a Success Ballast system will be tested. Bear with me as I am experimenting with this. Weights will be assessed at the end of the two-race event and not in between races during the event. The current weight a driver is carrying will be noted in the series standings.
Max weight = 100kg (220 lbs)
1st - 20kg (44 lbs)
2nd - 15kg
3rd - 10kg
Next to last - (5kg)
Last - (10kg)
Rules
