I may partake...IF, and it's a big if, I pull the trigger on a new video card.
I refuse drop down to a single monitor (been running triples too long), and without SLI support, my computer doesn't currently have the horsepower to run rF2.....even with setting turned way down. I refuse to be a liability to others on the track.

I understand, bud. Hope you can make it even if you miss the first. I think rF1 will be our primary platform for a while still, but it's fun to dabble in it as a group.

I only have a single 24" LG monitor. My card is a GTX570 2560 GB version and I run RF2 MAX and still get over 120 fps

Yeah, I can run fine on a single. It's the triple screen that's killing me. I've gotten so adjusted (spoiled?) to having the peripherals provided by the triples...that I have an impossible time trying to drive without them now.

Yep, I know exactly what you mean, that is partly why I splurged and got the 4 GB 670 card at Dale's recommendation. Yes, I am $550 poorer because of it, but the triple screen action has been awesome. Worth every penny. I got the three year super duper warranty as well so that if the card goes belly up, EVGA sends me a replacement via overnight delivery within a day or two. If that were to happen, I could use my back up desktop PC to run my racing sims for a few days while I wait for the replacement card.

Ok still learning the whole rf2 mod install thing so I must have done something wrong. Download the ISI Master from the site, downloaded Malaysia and installed, ran some laps offline all good, go online and I'm getting not correct version messages.
So downloaded the current lite build to try that and looks like that hosed my system. If someone has any insight on the first issue, I can try to resolve that and uninstall the latest build install.

Do you have the latest build installed?
You can get it using the Update feature in the loader.

Yes if you downloaded the components from the ISI site then they are the correct ones, only thing that leaves is the Build. When you say hosed your system exactly how, I am constantly downloading lite installs and never "Hosed" my system.
As has been said you can update your older build as long as it is not too old, anything over five builds old you should really do a fresh install.
When doing a fresh install have a copy of your player files folder, controllers folder, and Packages, I keep a copy of these on my desktop, and pop them into the new install. Then you can reinstall the components and everything else is as it was.
Tip keep the stuff you download, components and last build. In a folder somewhere, means you can always start afresh. Once you get the hang of it you'll be fine. Update it when needed.

Yeah I had the full install from a few builds ago. Decided to get the lite version and do what I do with RF1. After I installed the lite, neither install will work. I'm on it.
