So am looking for another car or 2 to run next season, all though I don't really have any interest in them iam thinking the skippy or Mazda for road circuits and only need 3 more road tracks to have all of them. Seems they have been having good turnouts in the evenings 2 other cars I was thinking were the Riley and hdp but from what I've read mostly aliens drive them? In all honesty I just want a car that has alot of participation between 8-11pm for the past 2 weeks aside from the free content I can't find any official races during those times which is getting quit annoying. 45 min races are my max, no ovals, mostly nights any suggestions? Purchased cars I own Vette Mp4 Kia Radical V8

Judging by that spreadsheet, the Skippy looks more popular than I remember. I think I may try to jump in a race this week. I haven't tried it with the NTM but I know it's supposed to be much nicer.

Star Mazda is what you are looking for. I rarely have trouble finding an official race during the 8-11pm hours.

I bought the skippy and i must say with the new tm/car iss pretty awesome and has tons of grip which really surprised me. I cant wait for them to implement the new tm on road cars, but iam sure by that time they will have stated a new one lol

I did a practice session with the Skippy and planning to run an official race this weekend. The car is far better than it was. I'm almost four seconds off the alien pace but I hope I can compete mid-pack.
I too find I am not getting enough out if my subscription. I am going to try to participate w/o my headset on so I don't need to listen to the asshats.

Ya iam really enjoying it, my first official rsce yesterday didn't go so well I ran 2 practice laps and decided to jump into a race which wasn't to smart...second turn pile up with no where to go I clipped another cars tire trying to avoid them which badly screwed up my suspension and had to get a tow back to the pits that took 2.5 min race basically over but continued anyways....forgot to set my pits so I ended up with double race fuel for the remainder. Asides from 2 partial spin/lock ups I feel into a grove ended up my best lap was 2 secs off the top guys they all seemed to be running low 1.45's at Okayama...pretty sure with a proper setup, practice and the right amount off fuel I could probably hit the 46's a be a bit more competitive. But all in all I really enjoy the car it really teaches you the basics but you really have to dial in your ffb and make sure the wheel isn't clipping so you can feel the tire carcass load and flex on corner entry to let you know when it's on the limi. I had mine set a tad too high and if I locked the brakes it would clip giving me no info a causing me to fight the wheel which mostly ended in a half ass spin or speed wobble

I too find I am not getting enough out if my subscription. Neither am I. I have done less than 500 official road and oval series races so far this year.

Whew...just ran a race. Started 6th and gained a spot fairly early. Chased fourth place for 12 laps until he finally bobbled a bit. The gap was between .4 and 1.2 the whole time. I was being super cautious and finished 4th. I am liking this car a lot. Can still bite you in the ass but not as bad as before.

Yes it can Damn 500 races this year!? I've only done about 60 not that I've even done half of that in other sims.... That's the one thing that makes iracing cost hard to swallow with work family etc. coming first you really have to dedicate time to make the investment worth while. I enjoy the laid back racing with friends and having a beer, but I find my natural competitiveness and focus shines when iam racing complete strangers. I find once I start hearing chater I lose focus than I can't shut up and my racing goes to shit lol I've yet to enter an ingame chat at iracing, I here they can get quit harsh and I've been know in the past to prey on shit talkers to see how worked up I can get them . But again due to that I lose focus and look like the idiot in the end. I know people claim communication makes it better and ill agree but when they start bitching I don't want to listen to it, I just go off knowledge and if a guy is gaining on me quickly ill give him space at the right moment to pass and ill do my best to push when trailing but avoid any contact...I got a pass left, right and sorry button mapped incase shit happens. The one thing that drives me ape shit in public chat is when a equal or faster guy is trailing you and claims his right to the racing line just because he feels he's faster in certain section and freaks out saying your blocking or slowing him down? If I started racing with guys more frequently and the majority spoke English iam sure I'd join but seems due to my early afternoon racing its sweds fins and Russians for the most part

I don't even turn on ingame chat in iRacing. All my comms are done with Pass Left, Pass Right, Thanks and Sorry.
Problem with getting people worked up is if you make a mistake and call someone something in game chat, a complaint can be filed against you in iRacing so you have to be careful there.

iRacing works better for my schedule. It has become very difficult with work and family for me to get into a race by 7 or 7:15pm PST. When I jump on iRacing, it is usually after 7:45pm, or on weekends, during times when there are no GBR events going.

I need the moons to align just to get 1 race a week in and usually no more than 2 or 3 practice laps on a stock tune to add the fun
