You know you were supposed to put our credits at the beginning of the video. Here I'll fix that for you:

Since getting my brakes to now go to 100% I have shaved off quite a bit of time. I never thought I would see 2:10's but I was able to hit that this weekend. I can feel getting into the 2:09's is very close. I still don't get how guys are getting 2:06's and 2:07's. I guess all I can do is run my race and hope for the best.

This is going to be by far our longest race of the season (approx 90 minutes). Strategy, tire management, and staying out of trouble are key to this race over pure speed. Will be interesting for sure.

I cleaned my pedal set the other day and it's like getting a new set. Checked out my pedal telemetry and my brakes were off as well. My brakes were filthy. Rubber under my shoes was shaving off little by little and I didn't know it. I got to get used to more accurate braking all over again. lol If people are getting sub 2:07 on inters then I give up already.

I'm pretty sure the 6's & 7's are on softs.

I don't believe 7's is possible in inters. I can tell you my 7 was on softs (and I've only hit it once so far). The tires burn up REAL fast pushing that hard, plus not using TCS makes it real hard to keep the ass end from slipping out coming out of the The Cutting, through Reid Park, down The Dipper, the left hander at The Chase and finally at Murray's Corner. HELL, WHAT CORNER DOESN'T THE ASS END WANT TO SLIP OUT! This track is so much darn fun and frustrating at the same time, never gets old. PS: Dang Marvin, you are already pushing 200 practice laps and we still have over a week until the race. Git er dun!

The first 150 or so were useless. As probably my last few races. I was wondering why my braking points were all over the place. The pedal issue I mentioned earlier. But I'M BACK BABY!!! sorta... kinda... wherever "back" is for me. lol

I'll finally be able to join you braking snobs. My CSR Elites came in last week, and just in time for the Bathurst WTCC race at efnet. I think I have them figured out/broken in now. I should do quite well provided I don't use the clutch as a brake on lap 1 again.

I should do quite well provided I don't use the clutch as a brake on lap 1 again. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA... I did that the first time I raced with my G27s. T1 at Watkins, I plowed straight into the runoff... the whole time I was mashing the clutch like an old man driving through the front window of a drug store.

I didn't mash it too much. The clutch feels much different than the brake, the brake being load cell and all, so I caught it early. Early is relative in a race situation where thousandths of a second matter, so it was still long enough to plow into the back of someone at turn 1. =(

Sadly I will miss this one. I was really looking forward to it. I have an out of town meeting that I am required to leave Wed. night. Have fun and if someone can please post a video of the action. It should be amazing. Jim

Any chance it could be started a half hour early, Jason? It might help guys like Smokey. Hell, it might help me, at that rate it won't be over 'til way after midnight.
