Date: Sunday, October 13, 2013 Time: 7:00am PST (70 minute Warmup/Practice starts at 7:00am PST, Qualifying starts at 8:10am PST and race starts at 8:20am PST) Cars: Star Mazda (paid content) Track: Zandvoort GP (paid content) Warm Up: 70 minutes Qualifying: 10 minutes, 4 laps Race: 40 minutes Tune: Open. Here are a couple of tunes that I pulled off the iRacing forums. I assume you can add fuel to make them race ready. I will test them over the next several weeks. Zandvoort Race 21L.sto (1.01 KB) ZandvoortG_FE_12S2_SM_Qual.sto (1 KB) Keep in mind that we will have to start on time, since there is no way I can change the race start time once we are in the sim. You can be late for warm up and qualifying and can come and go as you please. There will be unlimited Fast Repairs, so no one is left completely in the dust due to a mistake. Because you all are road purists, this will be a standing start.

I may need to skip this one as well...much to my annoyance!

I'll be absent. Enroute to Petit! Pfft! You don't come out to iRacing events anyway. Have fun at Petit though...I'm jealous!

If they weren't the same day as Enduracers I'd probably show. Chasing that championship!

If they weren't the same day as Enduracers I'd probably show. Chasing that championship! I am open to scheduling GBR iRacing events for another day and time, a weeknight for example, but we would have to make sure that we do not double book another series at the same time. That is what killed our GBR iRacing oval series that we tried to do on Thursday nights. As you guys know, I am cool with running just about anything, anywhere, in iRacing. You tell me what you want and it will be done. Many of you have made significant iRacing investments and I sometimes feel like we are not doing enough to help you justify what you have spent.

It worked fine when they were running w/ the Porsche races. That was a non-points event, more of a fun "drop-in" minimal prep event.
But ultimately, there is only 1 race left that I'll make, so really it's not much of an issue right now. We'll see how the next season stacks up & worry about it then.

Feeling good here unless Sir Gimpsalot kicks my ass on Sunday. Then I'll be ever so slightly put out!

I did some testing. My best lap is a 1:36.9xx. The throttle control is getting better, but the brake modulation still needs work. I will keep at it, but I'm also having trouble staying in the cockpit very long. See you all Sunday.
