Pretty sure you can't race unless you successfully update (from an iRacing perspective) as I know I had issues just trying to test without updating.

No you cant, but I will try again but even if I get it updated I have no time left to practice, today I had an hour or two to run some laps but it would not play ball...

Remember that we have a 70 minute practice session before qualifying starts on Sunday. I use that time to get up to speed and remember the track, etc. Of course, there is a chance I will not be using my CSW formula rim for this race. My CSW was acting up last night. I smelled burnt metal or rubber and then the FFB got weak. I reset the wheel and the FFB got stronger, but I might have burned up one of the motors, which means I will be switching to my back up T500 for the short term.

That's quick for sure Sir Gimplsalot but I'm not out of iRacing yet it looks like. We'll see Sunday. Getting better, cut a second off. Best lap now 1:35.940

Finally, had to do the update manually, found a folder with a update icon an ran it, and off it went...What is it with racing sims? Never bloody simple.

Bump for this morning. Looks like Troy is back but will Kelly surrender? Practice starts in about 40 minutes, just after I finish a Global Challenge race.

Won't be on TS this morning (chatting at least). I have a couple of unexpected house guests in for the weekend and they are crashed on the pullout in the basement beside my race room. Here's your chance to get back at me and I can't answer back. Fire away! Cheers!

Is there a password to join the league...I can't remember ? No, you are a member of our league and so you don't need a password to get into the race.

Great win Dave and it was really cool to have a few more cars in the mix. I won't comment on my race other than to say it was not indicative of what I can normally do in that car. Apologies to Craig for riding you like Seabiscuit in the closing laps. Got carried away having someone to dice with for a few laps. You were on a position lap and I wasn't so I backed off. On to the next one. Cheers!

Phew...One spin, and that saw me just hold off Dale for my best race yet. Interwebs held out, concentration held out and some intense battling with Dale in the first few laps. Good fun and that's what it's all about.
