I've generally not been a fan of adding AI to the races as that's why I race with you fine folks.
However, helios added them for the WEC race and while there were a few sketchy "drivers" overall, it wasn't that bad.
Given the low turnouts of human drivers I've been having in the series, I have thought about adding AI to fill up the grids.
The end results wouldn't change as far as I see it as if you are the first human driver in either class, you'll be awarded the points for first place, and so on.
For those that actually participate in the series, what are your thoughts on adding AI. Please vote in the poll above and I'll look at the results on the 15th.

I know I missed this morning's race, but have made most of them. I have no issue with adding AI. In fact, I think it makes it more exciting especially when the human turnout is low. Otherwise just starts to feel like you are hot-lapping for an extended period of time.

Hopefully as summer draws to a close we will see more people back. I think adding AI is better than hot lapping as well. You just have to assume they don't see you when passing or lapping them cause they don't give an inch usually,lol.

i'm totally agree with adding A.I.'s i feel it make you a better driver. mostly when your in a crowd. but for guys like me who never hot lap. i spend a lot of time with the A.I.s

I have not been able to make many of these this season, not for a lack of trying But I think that would be a good idea if less then 10 or 12 guys show. Voted Yes.

FYI, you'll want to test the tracks prior to the race, and decide if you want to run AI or not. AI performance will vary from track to track. Most of the big name track developers I doubt you'll find an issue with (which most of the schedule is). Just some food for thought.

Good call. I have already run some AI on other tracks. Is there way that you know of to specify the class in Multiplayer?
I am hoping to get a good mix if I do add.

And ensure to practice pitting... Adelaide, for example, the AI will crash and plug the pit entry.

Is there way that you know of to specify the class in Multiplayer? You have to go thru the list and remove the classes/cars you don't want to have usable. Looks like a lot of hunting for this mod. Their all split up. If you don't see this page when you set up the server, I have no idea.

I imagine if I started the server without the command line options I could see that. It does look a little intimidating but will be worth it I think.

*Edit* Ok so for shits and giggles, I removed all the vehicle filters and then put back ES_P2 and ES_GT1. That gave me a good long list of possible opponents.
I set the min AI to 0 and Max AI to 10. I also set their strength to 80%. Is the strength their aggression level?
I'll test a bit over the next few nights but this is strictly me testing. The poll still stands and I won't be going forward until after all is said and done after the 15th. I know this will add some false numbers to the Live Racers's data and I apologize in advance for that.
If anyone has issues getting the selected car (based on me removing filters) please let me know here as soon as you encounter a problem.

well I know ive only made 1 or 2 races this season but I think having that AI in the race when we were seat swapping was good Kelly you should think of doing that every so often also been enjoying the AI in FVR mod just turn up their wick and they are good to go

Looking through the driver info in LR, I actually didn't see any of the Enduracers drivers in there. Maybe Enduracers has something in the coding of the AI that prevents the data from transfering. I didn't vote, because honestly, I'm good either way. There is a separate setting for aggression. During the enduro a few weeks ago, I had AI strength set at 100 and aggression on 30.
