I tried to run a race with a full grid against the AI and it did not go well at all. One thing, the cars were driving through the walls, its like Clipping for the cars was turned off or something. So I would take a corner and the AI would drive through the wall and pass me. How many restarts are we going to get for this race?  |

I see the junk yards making a ton of money off used car parts from this race. I'm expecting to see bumpers littered all over the place after this race. Gonna paint mine neon-green so I can easily find it after the race. lol
I can hotlap this track but I can't race it consistently. I know I'm going headlong into a wall somewhere, sometime. Jut hope I can keep the damage down. Also hope my computer doesn't freeze on me. I think I know what might have caused that though.

Man you do not know how that helps to hear this. I suck at this track( Love it just suck)! Way off pace even for me! I have a totally new resect for the real drivers. Hell for that matter anyone that can race this. If I hadn't already missed way to many races due to work I skip[ it too, just to stay out of peoples way. LOL Jim

Summers over and I'm ready for some rfac V8's racing allrt. Not done much since Spring (sim racing..) so blow'n off the rust and likely'll be WAY back in the pack. I'll try and enter with my paint I last used in March at Yas Marina (prior season), if that doesn't work out will try a generic car, hope that's AOK. If not this wk, then definetly the Philip Islnd and Homebush rounds, great to be back thrash'n w/ you folk

Lol  but also have issues at work of being late & this race will only give me 2hrs sleep before work but next race I'll be off 2 days so just trying to juggle both at moment. And gotta give work priority for a while |

Yeah, I hear ya Smokey, that's why I'll miss pretty much everything except the Sunday races for the next few weeks. Gotta put the bacon on the table. I'm going to try like hell to make the V8s though. Sitting in the top 10 in points...and I'd like to stay there.

Ya I'm not in a points race this season (missed too many races) but ya work I've had a bit of a war going on with a couple bosses and it's come to ahead 20yrs with same company don't count for much these days. But I've always had wake up issues all me life (this is why I don't sleep before V8s) if I'm not physically woken up I'll sleep 15-20+hrs a day and alarms do nothing... A 41yr old child lol

Nick brought up a good point the other night about exiting pit road. The proper way to do it is to stay to the left of the yellow line, then go left of the turn 1 chicane to avoid merging into traffic right at the braking point. Here is a quick video to clarify.

Good Luck for those of you who do plan to race this. It is by far one of the most difficult tracks I've raced in a long time. After my first practice session last night I have officially drivin on 2 wheels further than I ever have before all the while my car's roof skidding along the retaining wall LOL good luck fellas |
