Season 2 drawing to a close

So with Kyalami in the books, we have two more races; Petite Le Mans at Road America and the make-up race at Long Beach.

The P2 Championship is basically wrapped up for me unless something drastic happens in the next two races.

The GT1 Championship is close and looks like it will be down to the wire at Long Beach between Dale and Chris.

Hope to get some folks turning out for the last two races. AI helps fill the grid but they are no replacement for the great folks here at GBR.

Sorry I didn't make this one, up late watching the Korean GP -WAY- past my bed time. By the time I woke up this morning & had breakfast and tea the GBR race was half over. I hope to make Long Beach but iffy for Atlanta.

LOL... I fell asleep during the GP right when things heated up (no spoilers ) and had to watch the rest this AM. Those races that start around 10/11 are impossible to stay awake for.

I was doing some math.....unless Dale has a bad round in the next 2 races (assuming more than 3 cars in class show up) & I win at Long Beach it's looking like I'm probably going to come up short. I don't think I'll be able to make up the points I'm going to lose at Road Atlanta.....now I'm plotting how I might be able to attempt to race on my laptop while I'm on vaca, assuming I'm even back to my folks place in time from Road Atlanta. At this point, Dale can cruise to a pair of seconds and taste the sweet champagne at the finish.

It's been a stellar season...but I'm feeling the noose starting to tighten around my throat. Those 2 missed races are going to be the death of me I think. But we shall see. Even still, I think the points difference will likely be in the single digits. We shall see. I haven't given up hope yet. We'll just have to see how it pans out.
