When (and or if  ) we go rF2 we could do this: Watching this I was saying to myself how can they drive in the rain like that when in the game I try it and it's instant death, then I got to the 30ish second mark and got my answer. lol |

Sorry for missing the last race without as much as a word. My work schedule's changed, and I now don't get home until around 10pm EST, with just 15 minutes to go to quali. If I get stuck at work for just a bit longer, or catch some traffic, then there goes the race. I'll try to make it to this one, but there are no guarantees. On the upside, I'm starting a new job (with a significant raise) on Nov 1st. It'll be an 8-5, so I won't be missing races for much longer.  |

Congrats Pavel. Raise = more/better sim gear?! I'm mulling over applying for a more senior position that has a slight pay bump but potentially much less need to bring work home in the evening (so more time/less stress for hobbies). The drawback is it's away from our main office locations so I'll be kind of isolated from the rest of my Division however it drops my commute from 10 km to 1.7 km  . |

Congrats Pavel. Raise = more/better sim gear?! Hopefully! When I got the job, the guy that referred me took me out to celebrate. After the bar, he came back to my place to try out the sim gear, as he's always been interested, but has never tried it. A drunken 2 hours later, my wheel is minus one clamp. I have it attached to the table pretty well right now with some military grade velcro, but it's not a long term solution. Hopefully soon I'll get a Fanatec wheel to go with my Fanatec pedals. |
