Congrats to Jeff for your championship win. Its old hat for you by now LOL. And congrats to rookie eFnet's boss man John for runner up. I'd like to thank GBR for all the hard work and effort in running this series, it really shows. I, myself, was not very competitive mainly due to tire management issues and the overall push in the car. But I won't give up, we'll look to improve next season.
Adios fellas and will try to catch some exhibition runs. Cheers

Damn, damn, damn. Although I was just showing up to drive for fun last night, I did put some thought into strategy. Then changed it, then changed it again, then screwed it up. I was initially planning for a one-stop inter. Then I decided if I was careful I could one-stop the softs... then I thought, I wanna push and have fun so I'll two stop the softs. Well... at my first pit window I had a lot of tire left so I stayed out (I started with extra fuel to give flexibility). Then I decided I could one stop but I didn't have enough fuel to make it to the mid point so I was going to have to do about 19-20 laps on the second set of softs. I made it work but had to give up two position in the closing laps due to tire wear. If I'd started with enough fuel to pit on L17 instead of L15, I'd have held those places. I finished the race with 7% left on the front right tire. Tire wear would've been better except I locked up and overshot two corners. Each of those errors took about 5% life out of the front right

0.7 goddamn seconds. Story of my life. It all came down to poll position, really. I know I had a 27 flat in me but just couldn't get that stupid bumpy Turn 4 exit down right consistently. In ONE of our four restarts I beat Jeff into Turn 1 and I think that might have made the difference, but I wasn't going to complain after one of those restarts was for me... And then in the race, for the first 10 laps I was on Jeff's bumper the entire time, crazy stuff, and I seemed to have pace over him, but this track is impossible to pass at. After pit stops cycled he had 3 seconds on me, which at first glance was another mistake, holding out to pit an extra lap on ruined tires. Things got worse when Nick and I got to racing for 2nd spot and after he suddenly let me by (I think he was struggling) it totally threw off my rhythm and I blew the chicane. I think that was the one deciding difference. BUT that same tire strategy gave me an extra couple of laps fresher tires at the very end. So I cut Jeff's lead from 3.5 seconds down to nothing at the very end. One more lap and I might have had him. Story of my life. Crazy race though.

Congrats Jeff on the win and championship.
After listning to Nick and his stratergys in the begining I decided to 3 stop it on softs.
Qually went about as good as I could get, equalling my PB would have put in the same position.
After the official start I chased Rich for a few laps and I guess Pat and I had a incident on lap 2 that I didn't know about till after the race. I was able to get by Rich and then moved up to Hawks in 4th, we ran around nose to tell for a bunch of laps, great stuff Jason! I pitted at lap 10 and came out behind Pat, was behind him for a couple of laps looking like he was struggling with his tires. Got up next to him in the braking zone at turn one. All of sudden as I was exiting tight on the inside I seen his car turning into mine and going right through it, then I got bumped and was turned into the inside wall.
His version of the incident was different then mine after the race, looking at it on the replay there was lag warping issue going on right then between the two of us. Anyways lost 2 spots and 10sec in that deal. From there just tryed my best to get back what ever I could.
Never seen this track before doing my limited practice here, little tight, no places to pass but kind of a neat track.

I want to thank each and every one of you for participating in the V8's this season. We work very hard to run it professionally and fairly, yet still fun and hopefully it comes off that way. We had an amazing 41 drivers participate this season and averaged well over 20 on the grid for most events. The level of competition is at an all time high. We definitely raised the bar up a notch or two. I also want to compliment everyone for having a great attitude. We had very few incidents and/or complaints considering the number of races and drivers. I want to thank Dale and Dan for all their help with the series. I also want to thank Jeff (or 3 time if you prefer) for doing so many paint schemes, including my Seahawks livery this season. Thanks to Nick for his unreal knowledge of rFactor inside and out. The little "extras" like updated sounds, dashboard graphics, spotter plugins, custom garages, track editing, etc is awesome! I also figured we better get some more Aussie's in here if we want to be a legit V8SC league. Congratulations to Jeff for winning his 3rd V8SC Championship. As much as we all want to hate on him, it's really hard to because he's just too damn nice and most of all, modest of his success. The guy is uber fast, amazingly consistent, and seems to never make critical mistakes. Damn that just pisses me off too. Even though this season was a bit frustrating at times for me personally, I still had a blast. I feel like I've become a better, more consistent driver (consistently off the podium anyway). With the level of competition even higher, it definitely got the old competitive blood flowing. I also want to apologize for discontinuing the videos. My work and family schedule has been crazy, along with not having a man cave anymore. That compounded with the fact that I've done them for every race since we started, I honestly became a bit burned out on it. As I've mentioned many times before, we could definitely use a new video editor/commentator for next season. Applications are now being accepted. I already have a few ideas for Season 7 and will be doing some brainstorming and testing during the off-season. I know Tony "It's Race Day Muthertruckers" Diamond is ready to kick off the new season now, but we will let the Champ bask in his glory for a couple months before we start up again. Obviously keep checking the forum as there will be some exhibition events coming up and your participation is greatly appreciated as we will use these as a testing ground for the upcoming season. Again, thanks for all your kind words and support. GO HAWKS!

Things got worse when Nick and I got to racing for 2nd spot and after he suddenly let me by (I think he was struggling) it totally threw off my rhythm and I blew the chicane. You seemed a lot slower after the first pit stop, I actually thought you were on controi tyres. Once I realised you weren't I pulled over to let you go as I didn't want to "pollute" the championship battle.

Not a big deal, Nick, I think my outlap was crap, and then we probably gave each other mixed signals.
