Final Event Season 2 - Long Beach

TRACK: Long Beach
Long Beach 2007

QUALIFICATION: 10 Minute Qualifying Session.

FLAGS: Black Flags Only. Blue Flags will show but no penalty will be issued.

RACE LENGTH: 1.5 Hours. CAVEAT: If there are fewer than 5 live racers, I'll change the race length to 45mins, no mandatory pit stop.

PIT: One mandatory pit stop requiring all four tires changed is required.

PIT SPEED: 64 MPH

FUEL: x2

TIRES: Normal wear | Drivers choice for compound

DAMAGE%: 50%

SPECIAL CONDITIONS:

10 AI cars (split as evenly between P2 and GT1 cars as I can manage will be added to the grid.

P2 cars can overheat on some tracks while in pit row during extended pit stops(repairing damage, etc). It is HIGHLY recommended that buttons be mapped for both Starter and Ignition so P2 cars can be switched off while in pit row.

Ensure you are in 1st Gear with the Pit Limiter ON before entering the pits.

Setups/Tuning: Open

Server will be live on: October 20th, 2013

Server is UP but I need some GT1 drivers to go head to head with the current AI. I have them set at 105% and the P2 cars are within .100-.300 of my times.

I don't mind the tight racing but want to make sure the GT1 live guys aren't getting completely stomped by the GT1 AI.

Reminder that the Season 2 finishing race is this Sunday. Its the makeup race for when all you DI.. uh great peeps went to COTA for some obscure Aussie race series.

Just a heads up for the Daylight Savings Time change if you are in an area that doesn't do this. We went BACK an hour last night.

As I type this its CURRENTLY 8am where yesterday it would have been 9am.

I will make sure I am on the server an hour earlier as a just in case.

As all times are listed in PDT, they also went back so we *should* be good but there is always a bit of confusion at first.

As I mentioned on Teamspeak this morning my Graphics card fan had begun to seize up and is not moving at all now. As a work around I have zip tied the main case fan over the existing fan as I run my pc case open anyway. After running some laps at Mid Ohio my temps are maxing out at 60 so that will get me by for now, it sucks I missed one of my favorite and final events though ><

I hope you guys had a good race regardless, I should be around for Wed FVRV8 RF2 now anyways.

A sad end to my second and final season, an engine blowout did for me. A great tussle with New Fast Fred, loads of laps of nip and tuck while Kelly disappeared into the distance. The first attempt at the race with the AI was...interesting.

Yeah I don't know what happened with the AI. They seemed to run fine when I first loaded them a couple of weeks ago, and a couple of other guys ran with them with no issues.

Then today all of a sudden, somebody put stupid pills in their gatorade or something cause that was straight up brutal!
