I see some HDV files for some of the cars, but not for the V8's we're driving. So yeah, check it out and let me know what you find.
I just don't understand why I'd have a MM now when I didn't before I updated to v1.51.

I have the skin pack in my game and I'm not getting any HDV errors entering the server with a stock skin, so I don't think custom skins are the issue.

Shouldn't you get a MM with the skin pack in your install if the server doesn't have it?
Do you have an HDV file in your SuperV8/Cars folder? I don't.

As long as I don't use a custom skin when the server dose not have them, it should never read the .veh. Once they are installed on the server, it will look for all of them. And to be honest, I don't see any HDV files in any of the cars, but I'm not sure what they are.

The only cars that have HDV files seem to be from the Blanc Pain mod wich I didn't even know I had installed.
But I'm not seeing any in the in game content cars.

I really had to dig to find a couple game cars using HDV's, but none in the V8 Supercars.

Check this out. First line in the .veh folder. So there must be a HDV file for these cars somewhere.

What I know for a fact is that Reiza uses those HDV files in a different way compared to what rF1 uses. I dont even know if they exists, phisically I mean. I really dont have this information.
No problems on the server for me.

View AttachmentThe only thing I can think of Scott, is that the hdv files for these cars are tucked away in the .mas file. If I search the game directory for SuperV8.hdv, it comes up blank. Maybe if you delete the SuperV8 folder and then run sync again that may fix it, but not 100% sure. I don't have a mas utility to open the mas file and see if it's in that.

I think you can use the RF2 mas utility program to open it. I'm going to try that. I'll also delete the SuperV8 folder and run the sync again.
Deleted the SuperV8 folder and re-ran sync. Still have the MM.

Sorry, that's what I get for troubleshooting on my phone. Yes it appears like the HDV are in the MAS which you won't open because they're encrypted.

Dale had mentioned trying to delete the RFM and see what happens after resync, the v8 rfm is 16.
We will figure this out before race day bud.

I got it!
I had to rename my new GSC.exe to rFactor.exe because of my plugins. Now I'm ok. No MM.
