I updated the link to the Tune To Win site. Now you can see all of the settings for the car instead of just the one page I originally linked.

ATCC_Setup_Guide
This is agreat little setup guide and has helped me plenty the last two weeks, but for all the cars I know, it seems to have got the power and coast backwards, or do the V8 TC's got it this way? For instance, if you have oversteer on entry, it says to -coast on RWD cars, but I have found the opposite to be true. Or am I way off?

I increase coast to increase stability on decel (RWD/4WD) as well. Pretty much flip flop from the list there.

Thanks Helios. Thought I had the monkey by the tail. Been doing some practice at Interlagos, a track that always baffles me, but have a couple of questions for the Boffins here. I have found that these cars respond to being driven gentler, ie braking earlier and accelerating out of the corner as opposed to attacking a corner. Is that assumption correct? When are the tyres too hot on the GID? Red or yellow? What is the ideal spread of temps across the tyres? What is your brake bias on a full tank and an empty tank? In a normal front engine rear drive car, I start at about 65/35 F/R with full fuel and wind that back as the fuel runs off. Would this be the same for the Beetle? Or is my initial assumption incorrect? What brake pressure do you guys run? I started at 100% but am now at 90% and am concerned going lower will reduce my ability to brake in an emergency. Lastly, how the hell must I drive to close up on a 3 second gap to AngeloS? ? Oh, and whilst asking for all the secrets, no stops tomorow? :-)

Angelo and Jeff are aliens plain and simple. I am driving the same car as angelo and he is always 3+ seconds faster than me. At one race he even gave me his setup, still 3+ seconds faster than me.

The cars very much respond to "gentler" inputs (steering, throttle, brakes). I think this is primarily due to how fast the tires heat up and how quickly the tires lose grip as the heat increases.
I usually end up moving the brake bias 1 or 2 clicks as the race progresses (longer races). Which direction you go will totally depend on the car, as the different engine layouts (hence fuel tank placements) vary.
I don't have GID, so I can't really help you much there.
And yeah, don't worry about matching Angelo's pace he is very quick. However, he is also very consistent so is a very good benchmark to use to gauge your own progress. I would recommend using % difference in lap times though, when comparing from track to track...since all the tracks have different lengths and lap times.
