I've all of a sudden begun getting double down shifts in both RF1 and RF2 when using the paddle shifters. Mainly in the Blancpain and FVR mods. Is there something that can be adjusted to help prevent it?

Look in your PLR. There's a line that deals with accidental shifts and has about 5 options.
I think I have a 150 ms delay set because I was getting double shifts if I didn't pull the paddle all the way in.

I know the following works for rF1, but not sure if there is a similar setting in the rF2 PLR
In your PLR file, look for the following line and change the zero to one of the other settings:
Repeat Shifts="0" // 0 = no repeat shift detection, 1 = detect and eliminate accidental repeat shifts within 100ms, 2 = 150ms, 3 = 200ms, 4 = 250ms, 5 = prevent shifting again before previous shift is completed

Paddle shifters for these cars? That should be illegal for you since you have a THR8S shifter.

Hell, I can't keep the car on the track with both hands on the wheel. I'd hate to see what would happen if I tried using the shifter!

Paddle shifters for these cars? That should be illegal for you since you have a THR8S shifter. The Blancpain cars use flappy paddles in RL. Observe.... |
