Date: Sunday, November 17, 2013 Time: 7:00am PST (70 minute Warmup/Practice starts at 7:00am PST, Qualifying starts at 8:10am PST and race starts at 8:20am PST) Cars: Skip Barber (paid content) Track: Watkins Glen Cup (paid content) Warm Up: 70 minutes Qualifying: 10 minutes, 4 laps Race: 40 minutes Tune: Open. Here is a tune from Troy: Skip Barber Race Setup.sto (366 B) Keep in mind that we will have to start on time, since there is no way I can change the race start time once we are in the sim. You can be late for warm up and qualifying and can come and go as you please. There will be unlimited Fast Repairs, so no one is left completely in the dust due to a mistake. Because you all are road purists, this will be a standing start.

Knight, it is highly likely that one of our next series starting in January will feature the Skippy.

Maybe so mate but it's not a car I enjoy, so I'll have to pass if there is a series. Also it is hard to compete with folk who run iRacing all the time when I only fire it up a couple of times a month...I guess only running it to get to race with you guys is a bit of a silly thing to do, I'm not a fan of the Sim, just a fan of GBR I'll drop in to races with content I have.

No car. Enjoy.
Knight if you're interested I'll throw up the Enduracer server and we can test AI on some tracks.

Ill vouche for the car, its probably the best road car in iracing with the new tm atm. Unfortunately I wont be joining anymore iracing events I decided to not renew my membership I just couldnt justify the cost for the once a week I ran it. Hopefully with all the competition being released they consider lowering there prices in the future, one can only hope...til then enjoy guys!

Great race today. Qualifying was very close, less than 2 seconds separated the field. The draft really works with this car, so as long as you stay close, it's hard for someone to get away from you. Dale and I swapped the lead a few times in the opening laps until he spun in the bus stop. I was able to stay just far enough ahead of him after that even though he was running faster lap times.
Gotta get some more guys in these races especially when we do a series with this car next year. It really makes for some close racing.

That was a blast. I really enjoyed battling with Greg and Sheldon much of the race, including the last lap. We will run a Skippy series starting in January. We will do six races. This will replace the Star Mazda series, which concludes next month. We will do Watkins Glen Classic Boot, Road America and VIR short. Other track suggestions?
