Nice time Nick. I'd hate to see the time you would post if you actually liked the track. Lime Rock has always made for some great races. I am going to try to jump on this evening to run a few more laps and help TenBear and Von get the track and patch files installed. Haha, believe it or not it's the first time I've run without any TC and spend a bit more time sideways. So, is it just me, or are the tyres really getting chewed up quickly around here

Bloody hell, like racing in a dishwasher at this track - never driven it before and probably won'tr again after this race lol I raced there for real in the late 80's and all through the 90's in my Formula Atlantic. These cars are a real handful around here for sure and alot harder than in real life.

Last night was a reminder if how bad I am in this mod. And, I really dislike this version of Lime Rock compared to the rF2 version (even the iRacing version is better )

Well with a lot of changes to the car I was finally able to get into the .54's on inters. This track eats the left front after a few laps. Also, where the hell are you supposed to make a pass? This track barely has enough room for 1 car. Gonna be a lot of ruined paint jobs after this race for sure.

Tactics & racecraft. Big Bend - You need a good run down the hill, but it's a prime spot to set up a pass. Watch for cars to run wide & take advantage. No Name Straight - A good exit from the esses can set up a passing opportunity into The Uphill. You will need the help of a bad exit on the car in front of you to get it done. West Bend - Be ready to pounce and set up the pass down Back Straight if the car in front gets unsettled over the hump. Stay single file after West Bend down through Diving Turn until you hit the front straight. You will loose more time trying to run 2 wide through there than just following, and setting up for a run down the front straight into Big Bend. Those are the big ones I look for. There will be a lot of shadowing the car in front waiting for mistakes/bobbles. This is definitely not a track you can just pass at will at. It does require a bit of patience and racecraft. Smooth & steady rewards here over speed & mistakes.

NOt going to be able to make this race now :-( It's our sons first school concert and I don't think there'd be much skin left around my genetalia if I dared missed the event!

Looks like me too with my Daughters Winter Concert tonight. Not sure when it ends but it does not look like I will make it either. If I'm back in time I will be there but don't count on it.....

No problem guys. It's just an exhibition. This is why I pushed out the start of the season until after the holidays as I know it's a bit crazy for most. Especially those of us with kids. Hope to see as many as possible. Should be fun. Cue Tony for the most famous words at GBR!
