Round 2 takes us tot he Netherlands and the Circuit park Zandvoort. It also introduces us to the dual race format, where we will run two 25 minute races. Round 2 featured our first sprint format that would take tpit strategy out of the equation. Brazilian, Angelo dos Santos would take another pole by more than a half-second to Jeff Hooper, the closest competitor. Race 1Race 1 would get off to an intense start. Hooper would spin his Ferrari in the opening lay allowing dos Santos room to stretch his legs. A familiar sight would develop with Marklein giving chase. Several battles ensued behind the pair with as many as five drivers fighting for position at any given time. It became a battle of the fewest mistakes as this track proved very easy to swap ends. The podium would see dos Santos and Marklein again on the first two steps with Minkler third in his first race of the series. Jeff Hooper would recover from his spin to finish fourth with Armando Edwards rounding off the top five. Fastest Lap bonus would once again go to dos Santos with the Highest Climber going to Tom Lory. Finishing order:1 dos Santos 2 Marklein 3 Minkler 4 Hooper 5 Edwards 6 Green 7 Hawks 8 Juliot 9 Fernandes 10 Sherburn 11 Lory 12 Woloshyn 13 Wheat 14 Diamond 15 Regan 16 Armstrong 17 Durbin 18 Gingras Race 2
Picking up where race 1 finished, dos Santos would continue his dominating form. This time around Jeff Hooper would keep him honest and give the Brazilian a run to the end. The two would finish just a hair over one tenth of a second apart with the rest of the top five over twenty seconds back. Edwards, Hawks, and Marklein would comprise third through fifth with less than one and a half seconds between them. Hooper would snatch the Fastest Lap while Gingras made an incredible run to finish sixth after starting 18th due to a DNF in race 1. Finishing order:1 dos Santos 2 Hooper 3 Edwards 4 Hawks 5 Marklein 6 Gingras 7 Woloshyn 8 Fernandes 9 Sherburn 10 Wheat 11 Green 12 Regan 13 Juliot 14 Minkler 15 Durbin 16 Lory 17 Armstrong 18 Diamond

Anything change on the server side for the Audi? KJ was getting a "R8_LMS.HDV" mismatch for any of the Audis. He could get into any other car on the server just fine.

I just noticed I made the poster! I have always been a fan of this track, but this version is throwing me for a loop. But this is a fun track and looking forward to race day.

There are two brake pressure patches. You need the newer one, only the Audi is affected by the second patch so if you don't have it then it'll mismatch when the other cars won't.

I'm not going to make it this evening, GF's birthday. She's working late but not quite late enough for me to get away with the Blancpain race. I'll probably at least start the Late Model race at ESR instead.
