when Dale & David started slippin & sliding enough to let me sneak by. That was when I realized I'd made a mistake with my pit strategy and was doing mental calculations and changing things in the pit menu. I was having a little trouble doing that and driving.  Ah, thats what was going on. Yes that is very challenging just to stay on track, worse than texting & driving,lol |

Yeah, I was watching my mirrors and trying to calculate if I could one stop it while keeping you both behind me. I knew you were going to try it and I thought Dale would too. When he pulled off I was like WTF!? lol I have to look at the fuel consumption of these cars because I had to REALLY short shift for more than half the race, letting Hooper and Angelo by. It seems that some cars are easier to keep pace and stil conserve fuel. After they caught up to me I knew the only chance of retaining a podium was if you would run out of fuel.
I am glad you all liked the track. Assuming we have a second season, I think it will be back on that calendar for sure. I will have the results up tonight.
