Our North American tour starts next week at the Circuit of the Americas, I favorite among GBR racers. Even though the V8's were at COTA two weeks ago, drivers will have to adjust to the full course. Looking forward to it. The podium gets shuffled yet again with Dale Green putting his Ferrari on the top step at clearly one of his best tracks. Dos Santos looked to have another race in the bag setting another pole and fast lap of the race. However, he needed a splash of fuel to finish the race, handing victory to Green who refused to stop and went the distance. Harper would round off the podium, also on a no-stop strategy.

FYI all of the corner posts hard solid. So hitting them will wreck the car.

Another FYI watch out for the triple orange speed bumps at the esses and Turn 20(very last turn) Hit those with enough speed and they will send you into space or over the track. There is only one way to get back on the track if you are unlucky enough to fly over the walls and that is at turn 15.
So if you hit the esses with too much speed be sure to go wide of the triple orange speed bumps otherwise you will have a nice aerial view of the track for a few moments, or on the outside looking in.
I was trying to get a replay to show but the replay/cameras at this track do not work.

What's up with the lack of chatter in all our series!? I'll be racing with very little practice and not much sleep.

Cmon Y'all!! ITS RACE DAY MOTHER TRUCKERS!!! My goal is to finish with 0 spins. I have my setup almost as low as I can get it and running full rear wing and still the rearend gets squirrly. I will be happy if I can have 0 spins.
Dan you have to come out! It is our home track. Texas represent!!!
I have also tried to convince Geoff aka heartburn to join us too. He has the rest of the week off so I said what better way to start your vacation than racing the Blancpain mod at COTA.

Try running with some AI - at the setting I had (which is low for taking pics) they can't make it past the esses without many of them spinning and crashing, lol

The only track knowledge that I have is that it goes counterclockwise but I expect to be able to participate.

Looks like my victory days are over! Is getting tighter and difficult out there! Good race this last night. From Pole I chosed a race with no new tires, but I was short 2 or 3 liters from finish without a splash. Before that I had a nice chase on Jef, before he made his pit. Then I was on the lead with a nice margin, but my pace was not good enough to open a confortable gap to Dale Green, so he took a fine Win in the dying minutes when I pitted. Congratulations! How you managed to finish without a splash?!! Shame we lost some drivers for this race. I thought some of the Efnet guys would be joining us, after their Wednesday series ended, but that not happened.
