This track always provides good racing. I had an Blancpain event on it, but with Game Stock Car Extreme, and was awesome.
Looking forward!

Yet another one of my favorite tracks this season, one of those tracks where you have to compromise big time on car set up. Due to the high speed nature of this track we will also see extremely high fuel consumption and brake wear. See you all there !

I am hoping we have a good turn out for this one as well. I need to run some laps tonight. The laps I did Saturday was just to make sure my wheel was working after reassembly.
The bumps at the hairpin are a bit inaccurate.

The bumps at the hairpin are a bit inaccurate. Not that innacurate. I believe that was in 2008 GP when the track was cracking and the asfalt in the hairpin was in very badly shape, some drivers even chosing to take an outside line to not ride the nasty bumps.

They've had that issue for a while. I remember them working on the hairpin one or two of the years I went to see it. I just think it is a little over done on this version of the track.

Not sure if I will make this event. Playoff hockey is upon us and my Dallas Stars are playing game 4 Wed night at home. I went to the game Monday night and really hoping they can carry the momentum into Wednesday nights game. I am just so happy that after 5 years playoff hockey is back in Dallas!

I hope you can make it, Jimmy...but I understand.I have a game 3 to watch tonight but i am used to watching sports on my DVR. My sim racing definitely suffers during the NHL playoffs.

I noticed something about the pit speed limit on this track. The lights in GID do not go amber and red until well over the speed limit. The pit limiter seems to work and locks my car's speed at 78 KPH but I cannot rely on GID for this one. Do your own testing!

I tested this a bunch last night, driving between 75 and 85 km/h and flicking the limiter on and off as I drove pit lane. GID's lights work perfectly for me within an error of about 1 km/h. I don't know where to start to offer troubleshooting advice to you... maybe there's something in gidconf.txt related to it.

I was messing with GID a few days before and maybe muffed something up. I may try to do a fresh GID install if i can get on early enough. For some reason, some of my GID installs have the damaged bars on the "wears" graphic and some don't. I think you and I were talking about this once. I have white lines indicating the front, sides, and corners that will go yellow to red with damage. I must have various versions of the plugin installed because I don't see it on all of them. Also, I have one mod that shows the bars but doesn't show damage. So odd. Once again, thanks for your help.

Mine seems to work just fine, Amber lights are on at the top of the pit speed limiter. Just confirming Dale's observation.
