Had a minor family crisis come up, so looks like I'm going to miss the race tonight. Damn.

We missed you Jason, hope all is well.
The best and most realistic mod in rfactor imo. To all the guys that seem to have dropped out, your all missing out on some top notch sim racing week after week.
Thanks for the racing too guys, awesome fun once again !!!!

Yeah, this mod requires everything you have to do in a real Endurance or GT racing. Not overdrive, take care of the tyres, think on the strategy. It really is the best touring or GT Mod there by far, at least the way I see. I dont understand when someone say that the tire model is frustrating...I really dont get it.
Today`s race was again a tactical battle. Me and Jeff had a great scrap, he did a tight move on the hairpin to take the lead, and I was following him trying to save some fuel. But for me a non stopper was always a difficult choice. I had an spin, and lost about 7secs, which force me to push and consume more. I had to do a splash to finish the race.
Congratulations to Jeff. Brilliant tactical race. The pace he had and the way he made it work were flawless.
Now we go to the great Sebring Endurance event.
I admit Im worried about the turn out. Because do 90 minutes of racing with 8 or 9 drivers on the track is not very atractive.... I hope the event to be very well advertised. Maybe do the race with acceletation of time, to end in the night, with lights on. Something different.

Great fun tonight. Surprised I made it to the end without a disco. Had a great skirmish w/ Dale for most of the race. Unfortunately I had to let him go on the last lap as I was unsure if I was going to make it all the way around. She started sputtering coming off the final chicane, and was fortunate enough to get enough speed to coast down to the start/finish line. Intense race.

Oh, and it should be noted that Jeff, Dale & myself managed to out conserve Mr. Conservation Tony Harper! Relish it boys...cause it probably won't happen again.

Sorry I missed it guys. Unfortunately real life father had to step in over fantasy race car driver tonight. All is well though.
I'm really bummed as I spent a good deal of time last night practicing for this one and was hoping for a top 5 this time around. I'm also disappointed with the turnout and apologize for contributing to the "no shows". Sounds like it was still a hell of a race though.

I completely intended to make this, but at the last second I decided to go ahead with my quick computer upgrade....which I'm still working on, lol. I guess there is no such thing as a quick upgrade.

I had great strategy but several errors cost me at least one place. I didn't practice in economy mode and I was blowing braking points everywhere because I now didn't have engine braking and started sliding back. It wasn't until Chris caught up to me that I realized I just needed to adjust the brake bias.
My fuel usage was perfect... I was able to squeeze out a few fast laps when I needed them and conserve for the rest. I was watching my GID and with 10 minutes to go I knew I had a few litres extra so now I'm banging it off the rev limiter and I was able to start pressuring Chris. I had to check up once or twice and give up the advantage as I blew chicanes. Luckily Chris and I have raced together so much, he knew what I was doing and successfully avoided getting speared by me. With a two to go I think he had a little bobble and I got up beside him and we went through a couple of corners like that before he backed out (or I barged through... not sure which). Fun stuff.

Sorry I didn't make it but my Dallas Stars rallied to beat the ducks 4-2. I made the right call watching the game, but I will be at the next race.

Thanks to those who came out. I really appreciate the support of the series. Admittedly, my head was not in the race after I realized we'd only have nine drivers. I was just lapping the park thinking of other stuff. See you in two weeks.

Yes, it was a great race! And the track was perfect for these cars! I believe this was my first win in this series? If not, it had been quite a while. Sorry about the bump in the hairpin Angelo. I was actually planning to just follow you and try to conserve fuel but I blew the braking point into the hairpin and was just trying to keep it off of you and sorta just slid it through there. I was surprised that I came out of that corner with the lead! From there I short shifted the entire rest of the race knowing that if I had to stop there was no chance of winning. Apparently I did a pretty good job, still had .9 gallons of fuel left at the finish! Again, great racing guys! This is quickly becoming my favorite series!
