New Tire Model ("NTM") Version 5 for the Corvette

Hey guys. iRacing released the new build today and much to my surprise, it includes the NTM Version 5 for the Corvette. That probably means our set ups are no longer good, but I am confident Troy will fix that for us shortly!!!

I will be running practice sessions and scouring the forums. I'm sure I can find a good setup before our next race.

I ran a few laps at Road America on the default setup because Troy's set from Sunday fails Tech. First impression is that it doesn't have that weird low speed spin thing on those two left handers.

It's hard to tell if that's NTM though because a lot has changed:

Chevrolet Corvette C6R

- Updated to latest v5 tire model.

- Reviewed and improved suspension geometry, shocks, bump stops, anti-roll bars, and steering.

- Updated aerodynamics.

- More accurate ride height sensor locations.

- All brake lights light up when car brakes.

- New baseline setup.

I have not run the Corvette with the NTM v 5, but I did run the Caddy (of course ) and the Super Late Model and they both feel great with the NTM v 5.
