The GT3 series helped alot with going from B-A in 3 weeks, although I can't say my licence clinching race was all that glorious, just as I clicked to start, my daughter had night terrors, by the time I got back I missed warm up and the start, as I watched the entire field lapping me as I sit in the pits I thought I'd give myself a challenge, and managed to claw my way from 31st to 24th.
Probably one of the most fun races I've had lol.

i've really been focusing on amy oval lic. sitting on a D 3.78 almost to C Class

Nice job Tartan. Long time coming, but a great accomplishment. Now to work on your oval license. There are some great videos on youtube on how to survive rookie races, check them out here: www.youtube.com/results?search_query=iracing+rookie+guide&sm=3The only track I would race in the rookie street stock series is Charlotte. Start from the pits and stay back at least 10 seconds from the pack. I know it's not really racing, but it is the fastest way to get your SR over 3.00 which is all you need to fast track from rookie to D class now. Once you get to D class, continue running the rookie street stock series until you get your SR over 4.00. That will allow you to run the C class street stock series to get you MPR and be promoted to C class. Just need to run 4 races or time trials and keep your SR over 4.00. Once you get to C class, run some more races in the C class street stock series until you get your SR over 4.00 again. That will get you to B class. To go to A class on the oval side, you will need to buy at least one car. |

I bought the Ford Gen6 a while back, I really did enjoy driving it around Daytona.
Is there no Nationwide series on iracing?
As I thought that would have been in the road class, or does that mix with ovals too?

yeah they have a natyion wide series its in B Class. doesn't make much sense. being you can race the Gen 6 in C Class With the trucks? but hell well all get there lol!!!
and hell if we get the itch bad enough for a car we can just host it. and everyone can drive it.
