I drove the Cadillac today and I noticed that it wouldn't downshift. I have the th8rs in sequential mode. Up shifting is fine and I checked my settings to be sure. I actually ran two races with the Miata after experiencing this with the Cadillac and had no problem. Recalibrated my shifter also. Anyone else have this issue before? Cadillac sounds are awesome, btw.
Also, has anyone here dabbled with custom paints using TradingPaint and Photoshop?

1) It's either you need to use a clutch OR you need to enable auto-blip OR blip the throttle manually when you shift. Also, some cars will just block the shift if your revs are too high (The McLaren is like that). It's supposed to simulate real transmissions.
2) Yes. TP has a cool web skin making webpage for paid members too, I believe.

Negative on the painting but for the caddy you can run with no assist on you just have to blip the throttle while down shifting....if you do one before the other it will either go to neutral or do nothing. Just takes a bit of practice

Okay, I think I see what you guys mean about the Caddy. I'll try it again.
Another question: Where can I find a list of the keyboard commands and what they do. I don't have a button box so I need to set something up. I'm really liking this SIM. Should have my C license later today. Thanks guys.

You should find almost all of the commands in the Options pages once you're in the sim. Those that are greyed out are not available for that car. There are also pit macros (to do stuff like select two tires, 10 L fuel, etc) which are poorly documented but there is a thread in the iR forums that has the info.

Dave, I use Auto Blip only with the Caddy and all other iRacing cars I drive. It works fine. iRacing protects against stalls caused by a failure to engage the clutch, even if you do not have auto clutch engaged.
