Not 100% sure I'll be around tonight, Wife just got a promotion, and she wants to go out to celebrate. So depends on when we get back.

Congrats on the promotion! Hopefully it's better than my last one...new title, more responsibility & no more monies.

I had to look at the results because I couldn't remember how well my strategy worked last time... oh yea, my internet dropped at the first pit stop!

Great racing tonight fellas. First race I had a very poor start and dropped 2 or 3 spots before turn 1. Had a good battle with Boza and was able to make a pass at turn 1 to move up to 4th. From there it was follow the leader behind Chris. He had really good pace. I tried to make a pass a couple times, but just couldn't make it stick. This track has only 1 good racing line with the exception of turn 1, but Chris did a great job not making any major mistakes, despite the pressure. Race 2 got a better start and moved up to 3rd. Made a mistake after the esses and Jeff was able to make a good clean pass. On the next lap, Jeff lost control going through the cut-off and slammed into the wall at the left hand exit. That sucked for him big time. I had zero practice on the softs, so had no idea how they would fair. By lap 8, I was down to around 30% on the right front tire and knew there was no way I could go with a one stopper. After my second stop and after the pits cycled through, I found myself in 3rd with Cameron right behind. Did my best to fend him off and did so for awhile, but started making mistakes with 2 to go and he got by. In trying to hold him off, my right front deteriorated quickly and barely made it to lap 25 with any rubber left on it. Pretty happy with a couple 4th place finishes. Big shout out to Chris on his first official V8SC victory. He is an original founding member of GBR and nice to see him get a W! Nice job bud!! On a side note, most of you know Chris, Dale and myself went to COTA last year to watch the V8's. I think they had some inside info on the track which led them to their one stop strategy. I didn't get that memo apparently!
