Had a great week at Texas last week in the IndyCar. I don't really like the track, but I do ok there. It's a great place for me to farm some iRating.
I had the #1 qualifying time in the world which meant I started on the pole for every race I entered. Texas is a terrible track for the IndyCar fixed series. You can run the bottom of the track all the way around and I have never been passed on the outside when leading there.
I entered 7 races and won all of them leading every lap. It is very easy to spin the car on restarts there, so the most common way to lose the lead is to spin out at the start or on a restart after a caution. I did that a few times last year when leading. The other way to lose the lead is to allow someone to get the inside line. I have perfected running the white line and practiced restarts, so I was able to hold the lead.
On top of my #1 qual time and winning all my races, I also set the #1 time trial time and kept it the whole week. The IndyCar fixed series time trial competition is very competitive. This is only the 3rd time I have held the #1 spot at the end of the week. I would really like to win the time trial championship. I have placed 2nd before, but still haven't won it yet. Maybe this is my season to do it.

Very cool. I am not enough of a man to run the IndyCar anywhere, let alone Texas. That makes you a better man than me. Congrats!
