Pros get paid... when someone starts paying you to race you are a pro

The iRacing Knowledge base is down right now but I did find this:
The iRacing.com Road Pro Series (iRPS) is the final rung on the ladder to the iRacing.com Grand Prix Series World Championship (iGPSWC). The two series are limited to members who have progressed up the iRacing.com competition license ladder and earned a road pro-level license. Although earning a place in the Road Pro Series is a significant accomplishment in itself, it also places a driver in position to qualify for the iGPSWC and the opportunity to compete for the honor of being the best online road racing driver in the world for that year.
To qualify for the iRacing.com Road Pro Series, a member needs to obtain an iRacing.com “A” road course level license, and then finish in the top ten in any of the first three iRacing standard seasons in the Class “A” Grand Prix Series. Therefore a total of 30 drivers from the Class “A” Grand Prix series from Seasons 1 through 3 will be offered Pro Licenses and will be eligible to compete in the Road Pro Series in Season Four.
Additionally, since the current year’s iGPSWC concludes prior to the start of Season 4, the bottom 25 drivers from the iGPSWC will also automatically be granted licenses for the Season Four Road Pro Series. Thus, based on their performance in the Road Pro Series, they also will have a chance to race again in iGPSWC the following year. Therefore a total of 55 drivers will be granted a iRacing.com Road Pro Series license.
