I have been Craig's crew chief for the NASCAR iRacing series for about the past year now. I haven't been there for every race, but when I am, I always have a great time and today was no different. Check out this video: This was Craig's first win in the NASCAR iRacing series and it was great to be there and see it happen live. He started 9th and ran great the entire race and was 3rd after the final caution with 9 laps to go. On lap 132 of 134, the 2nd place car made a run at 1st and ran him up into the wall allowing Craig to get by for the lead as the caution came out. The race finished under yellow giving Craig the win. Here are the top 10 results, there were 28 total in the race:

This was great fun. Troy did an even better job crew chiefing than he did on this superb video. 134 laps at Vegas with hot weather and a loose set up is a real challenge. I got lucky at the end there when the 2 took out the 1.

My win at Vegas this weekend vaulted me from 53rd to 13th in my division.
Thanks again Troy for the awesome work crew chiefing. It makes a difference in these long races.
This week is Bristol. I should be able to get plenty of practice in this week by doing the A fixed races at night. Last year I got a top 5 at Bristol in the iRacing series and so hopefully the good luck continues this week.

Thanks guys. I appreciate the kudos and the support.
I am already off to a good start this week at Bristol. I have done two 65 lap races so far in the A Fixed Cup car, and I got a 12th place finish on Monday night, and a 5th place finish last night. Both of these were single split races, meaning that there were many top iRating guys in the field. Bristol is not about speed, which unfortunately many of these knuckleheads have yet to figure out. Rather, its about survival. If you can stay on the leap lap, it is a virtual certainty that you will get a top 10 finish.
