The RUF track version has become my new favorite car this season. I have entered 80 GT3 Challenge races so far. This week is 70 minutes at Spa. Awesome track for a 70 minute race. 1 pit stop is required. I only take fuel to shorten the pit time.
I finally got my first win tonight in the 12:00 midnight eastern time race. I started on the pole and had to fight hard all the way until my pit stop. I usually had a car within 1 second behind me. I didn't lead all the laps, there were a couple of other guys right there with me all the way until the pit stops. The McLarens can go farther before pitting, so 1 guy got to lead a few laps after I pitted before he had to pit.
The guy running 2nd took too much fuel on his pit stop, so when the pit stops were done, I had a 10 second lead with 9 laps to go. I was able to hold him off and get the win. And for a bonus, I had zero incidents so I got a nice SR bump to go with my iRating gain.
