That's right Marvin. You know this track like the back of your hand. Great video. What a cool experience that had to be.

Damn right. None of you are going to beat the 9 minute laptime!!!! Yeah it was definitely exciting to be on the same streets they race on.

I was terrified of this race. I ended up with 2 of my best finishes ever here at GBR and was able to run both races very clean. I battled Marvin pretty much the entire first race. I figured my only chance to pass would be if he screwed up but he was running very well.
Race 2 was pretty much the same thing. I didn't do any practice on softs so I ran my same setup but reduced the wing a bit. I was going to do a 1 stop but luckily Boza said there would be no way he could do a 1 stop so i switched it up. I was shocked when I looked at the results and saw that I had the 2nd best consistency in race 1 and the best consistency in race 2.
Needless to say, this race went much better than I could have hoped for.

Yeah, you and Marvin both appeared to have your best nights ever in the V8s, I think. The three of us finished in the same order in both races!

Good times last night. Borked myself in Race 1. Was running a comfortable 5th or 6th, just in front of Dale when I must have missed my braking point by 10m or so. All I know is I hit the brakes and there was no bite, turned the wheel and it just shot straight into the tire barrier. Limped it around, fixed the car, and circulated to the finish...working back up to 10th in the end. Much better Race 2. Pretty uneventful really, aside from narrowly missing Rob in the tunnel, and doing a 180 after clipping the tires skittering around Bearz' prone Holden. Got settled into a rhythm, put a gap back to Dale, and brought it home in 4th. Another top 5 for the season, I can work with that.

My god, the carnage. Parts and cars lying all over the place. Zeke and I JUST missed Lang sitting stopped right on the racing line in the tunnel in Race 2. Can't believe neither of us hit him. Piss me off, turns out I could've swept the weekend! If it weren't for 0.2 goddamn gallons of fuel. From now on I'm just gonna way overfill it and deal with the weight, it's not worth it. Even if I hadn't smashed into that parked lapped car on the last lap of Race 1, Hawks or Boza would've got me, the car sputtered right there. Funny enough though, had I pitted for a gallon of fuel I still would have ended up around 8th or 9th anyway. Race 2 was perfect, for once I didn't burn the Softs off; ran nose-to-tail with Zeke for the first 8-9 laps, and while he was stupid quick he was demolishing his tires, ended up sliding wide heading to the swimming pool and I got by. I was able to stretch my tires past half way, and nailed a perfect pit stop, got out in front of Hawks and that was that. And for the first time, I drove all the way to the finish on Softs and DIDN'T have to slow way down in the last couple laps. Maybe the race was like, a lap too short? I'm not complaining though! I was surprised as Zeke's lack of Race pace. He was ruining me in Practice and Qualifying, but he just couldn't seem to string two laps together in a row in Race trim. This title fight ain't over!
