My first full season has gone pretty well.

It's been a lot of fun participating in my first full season in iracing, but what has surprised me most is how much fun I find oval racing.
Had never taken an interest in it but since trying my hand at the Street stocks and Legends, I'm now hooked!
I'm also pretty surprised at how fast I am being promoted on ovals and think there may be time to even make the end of season promotions to B if I work at it.

I am not surprised Tartan that you are hooked on the ovals. I have been hooked on oval racing in iRacing for over a year. Oval racing is tons of fun, although I acknowledge that the majority of GBR members prefer road racing. You might decide to try the higher level NASCAR events, including the C license trucks, B license Nationwide cars and the A license Sprint Cup cars. iRacing has most of the tracks that those series run in real life (they have all Nationwide and Cup tracks and are only missing a couple of the truck tracks).

Nice to see you are enjoying it. A lot of people don't realize how fun oval racing is until they try it. I don't know if you have the IndyCar or not, but it is my favorite car on ovals. If you don't have it, I suggest you wait until the DW-12 is released later this year.

Yeah i bought the Indy car when the Pocono race coincided last year.
Nationwide is what i'm aiming for since it mixes road and oval.
Are you guys running the World Cup races today?
Managing to top the practice times with the SK modified but can't turn a single lap with the caddy, might be right up your isle zero.

No World Cup races for me. I spent the time upgrading the computer so its ready for week 13 and season 2.
