It so happens that I'm off work today and iRacing is upgrading right now as I enjoy my coffee and scone. I'll be sampling the updates later this AM. Giggedy.

This looks like a great build. I am glad I bought some credits a month or two ago, and that I received my series participation credits last night, as it looks like my wallet will be getting lighter tonight when I get home. The BMW, COTA, Lucas Oil Raceway and the Toyota Gen6 will all be joining my stable of iRacing content. The Week 13 line up also looks great, I plan to spend a lot of time doing the Gen 6 at Auto Club and Charlotte, the BMW at COTA and the Super Late Model at Lucas Oil Raceway.

P.S. - I am also psyched that the NASCAR Cup and Nationwide cars and the truck will be getting the NTM v5. They already drive quite nicely, but I am sure they will be even better with the new build.

Oh, I didn't realize COTA and the BMW were in this release. Well there goes my plans to clean up the garage today!

If you cannot wait until the maintenance is done, check out the ISR video that came out yesterday, where Darin Gangi drives the BMW at COTA. It looks awesome. Too bad the GT3 series is such a wreckfest. I would otherwise consider running it during Season 2.

I have to say that adding COTA and the BMW is real progress, in my opinion. I just wish I had time to squeeze iRacing in. I am trying to stick to only racing on Sunday and Wednesday nights with practice in between.

The BMW is fun. Very n00b-friendly. With TCS on 1 or 2 it's quite docile. With TCS on 6 you can pretty well mash the throttle. I switched from 2 to 6 and dropped 3 seconds off my COTA laptime instantly.
COTA is pretty... but hard on the framerate.

Just raced a 30 minute GT3 race at COTA in the Z4, finished 11/60 after dicing with one of the top UK&I guys for most of the race. So much fun.

Dale, never mind. I found tsc in the garage setups. Never noticed that before.
